The courts deeply impact and affect our lives more than other branches or agencies of the government. When a judge decides a case, it personally affects the lives of everyone involved. I have over 25 years of experience as a municipal judge and nearly 35 years as a practicing attorney here on the Gulf Coast. My goal is to bring dignity, decorum and fairness to the courtroom and to make decisions which benefit the individuals and our community.
Courts exist to serve the public. I am here to serve all the citizens of Harrison, Hancock, and Stone Counties. In my many years on the bench, I have worked on a wide range of cases from criminal cases and civil matters. I have been particularly involved in cases concerning families and children who are at risk. I have been married to my wife Sandy for close to 35 years. We have five children and served as foster parents in Harrison and Hancock County for over twenty years, fostering over 50 children in our home.
I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I pledge that I will continue to be a judge who is considerate of those who appear before me and who applies the law fairly and even-handedly.
I hope you will consider my qualifications and I sincerely ask for your vote and support.
