The courts deeply impact and affect our lives more than other branches or agencies of the government. When a judge decides a case, it personally affects the lives of everyone involved. I have over 25 years of experience as a municipal judge and nearly 35 years as a practicing attorney here on the Gulf Coast. Everyday that I’ve sat on the bench, my goal is to bring dignity and decorum to the courtroom, and justice for the victims and their families, for the defendants, and for our community as a whole.
Courts exist to serve the public. I am here to serve all the citizens of Harrison, Hancock, and Stone Counties. In my many years on the bench, I have worked on a wide range of cases, criminal and civil. I have been called on numerous times to navigate cases concerning families and at-risk children. I have been married to my wife Sandy for close to 35 years. We have five children and served as foster parents in Harrison and Hancock County for over 20 years, fostering over 50 children in our home.
I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of the circumstances, victim, or defendant, that brings them to my courtroom. The guiding force is the law, applied fairly and even-handedly. There’s no reason justice cannot be meted out with dignity and decorum.
I hope you will consider my qualifications and my proven record, and I sincerely ask for your vote, your prayers, and your support.
